some drawings

These drawings are part of a series of studio projects concerning photography. The drawings begin as an exercise relating photography and experience through photographs taken accross the western half of the United States. Through a series of technological and human processes, the original location, or more accurately the human experience of that location, is shiftedenough that it finds itself hovering on a threshold of different meanings. The initial separationof the human from the experience of a place that occurs through photography is compoundedwith each process that the image undergoes. The final drawings exist in a state of uncertainty.
